EHAC Responds to Fire

Saturday, December 18, 2010  Shortly after 1900hrs Shelton Dispatch alerted FD Companies 1 / 4 and 5 to a possible working structure fire on Canal Street at a Processing Plant. The Tac Car was the first responding unit on scene and reported fire on the roof of the building. Shelton Fire and Derby Fire Units contained the blaze while EHAC stood by and provided Rehab. No Injuries were reported and Crews cleared within an hour.

   
 

Tac Car goes to MVA in Seymour

Thursday, December 16, 2010  At approx 0930hrs on Thursday Morning, the Tac Car was alerted to Route 8 Northbound in Seymour for the Multi Car Accident. Seymour FD and EMS had already arrived on scene and were tending to patients when the Tac Car was requested. A total of 4 patients were transported to area Trauma Centers.

   
 

3 Hours, 2 MVAs and Structure Fire

Saturday, December 11, 2010  At approx 0600hrs on December 11, FD along with EMS was called to Route 8 Southbound for the Reported MVA with 1 Code 200 (Traumatic Cardiac Arrest), upon arrival of crews the patient was pronounced dead on the scene after crews found the accident occured a few hours earlier and that the vehicle had just been found. One hour later brought the crews back to route 8 for the 2 car accident, 2 patients were transported to local hospitals. At approx 0800hrs Echo Hose and the Fire Departments were dispatched to Howe Avenue for the Reported Structure Fire, FD found the Auto Body Shop with heavy smoke showing. EMS provided Rehab services, transporting 1 patient from the scene.

   
 

MVA Rollover on Route 8

Sunday, November 28, 2010  Around 1800hrs units from Company 3 and 1 along with Echo Hose Ambulance were dispatched to Route 8 for the reported rollover. Units arrived on scene to find all occupants out of the vehicle. One patient was taken into Bridgeport Hospital.
